PRODUCTS
CQ Compost manufactures a focussed range of products specifically designed for the needs of the agricultural and horticultural industry as well as for degraded land rehabilitation. The two key products for these industries are Ag Compost and Rapid Rehab.
Ag Compost is an excellent product to provide farmers with the essential nutrients that will allow them to reduce or eliminate the use of synthetic fertilisers. This will provide both an immediate return of investment based on nutrient content along with expected long term soil health benefits.
Rapid Rehab is specifically designed for large rehabilitation projects such as mine site rehabilitation whereby land managers can use a product that acts both as a growing medium and a balanced complete nutrient and carbon source for plant establishment. Rapid Rehab combines both compost components as well as clay and soil mineralogy to provide the necessary requirements for regeneration of degraded areas.
All compost and soil conditioner products are allowed to mature to ensure self-heating and nitrogen drawdown index requirements are met. All products are processed according to AS4454-2012. Compost, Soil Conditioners and Mulches, to enable all products to maximise the benefits of being applied to soil.
The benefits of applying CQ Compost product to agricultural and rehabilitation site are numerous, such as:
- Source of N, P, K and trace elements
- High organic carbon content, increasing water and nutrient holding capacity
- Trace content of non-labile carbon
- Source of beneficial soil microbes
- Improve soil structure
All CQ Compost products meet AS4454-2012 requirements, as well as PAS100 requirements.
